Position Summary:
The candidate will work closely with us on Market Intelligence and Corporate Investigations projects to evaluate commercial aspects of target companies and synthesize critical information for an enhanced investment evaluation process.
Responsibilities:
- Guide us in identifying industry executives and other primary sources to gather critical business insights and intelligence.
- Synthesize the information, translate it into key insights, and prepare business reports/feedback based on the findings.
- Gather detailed and in-depth information about target companies’ business operating models, regulatory and compliance issues, geopolitical concerns, information technology, and other business-specific concerns via primary (discreet) data points.
- Conduct case investigations and perform Integrity Due Diligence, Anti-Money Laundering checks, and Asset Tracing for target companies.
- Prepare risk research reports based on identified issues.
What You Will Need:
- Clear Communication Skills: You will initiate calls with industry and market professionals to gather intelligence; therefore, the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight takeaways, and disseminate actionable insights is a must.
- Ability to self-serve, investigate, and gather data on target companies using discreet and guarded interactions.
- Ability to understand vital investment information, geopolitical issues, PEP (Politically Exposed Persons), governance, and compliance issues.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Masters/Post Graduate/Business degree
- Proficiency in English
- Interest in roles in Risk Advisory, Business Due Diligence, Market Research, and Consulting
- Ability to complete assignments/tasks without incurring time overruns
